International women's day 2023 was celebrated at NTPC-TTPS on the theme DigitALL: Innovation and technology for gender equality. The keynote speaker of the program was Smt Paurnamashi Rath, Program Officer and Protection Officer, WCD-Angul, GoO.

Shri Goutam Deb, Executive Director-TTPS  graced the occasion as chief guest. 

Speaking upon important issues pertaining to women safety in workplace and society at large, Smt Rath shared information regarding important Acts and Provisions of Law for the protection of Women. She also spoke about gender-responsive approach to innovation, technology and digital education which can increase the awareness of women and girls regarding their rights and civic engagement.

The program was attended by Shri Koushik Mandal, GM (Decommissioning & Dismantling), Shri Chander Shekhar, GM (CCD), Shri Deepak, GM (Engg. Services), Shri Rohit Kumar, HoHR, Smt Bipasha Deb, President Sagarika Ladies Club, Smt Bharati Singh, CMO-TTPS, all women employees of TTPS, CISF, UPL and all the Proactive members of Sagarika Ladies Club.

Shri Goutam Deb, ED-TTPS  gave valuable suggestions to all the ladies to improve their digital and financial knowledge and encouraged them to take financial decisions independently. Lastly, all the women were felicitated with mementos to encourage them to continue the their brave journey ahead.
